SCPIE’s policy provides entity coverage for professional liability claims arising from the delivery of healthcare services. It also includes coverage for facility administrators and all employees who are not healthcare professionals. Coverage may be extended to certain approved healthcare professionals for an additional premium.
Liability limits up to $5 million per claim and $5 million annual aggregate are available.

Claims for bodily injury, property damage, and personal and advertising injury arising from facility operations.
Medical Expenses
Claims for medical expenses up to $10,000 incurred by a person accidentally injured on the premises.
Employee Benefits-Program Liability
(Claims-Made Basis)
Claims for errors arising from the administration of employee benefits programs. In addition, we offer a stand-alone Directors & Officers policy to X-ray/imaging centers (liability limits up to $1 million per claim and $3 million annual aggregate).

- Our compensation for attending a trial—$250 per half day, with a $10,000 per-trial limit—is considerably higher than what’s offered by some competing plans.
